A person works or takes up a business to provide material resources so that his economic activities provide those material resources that can fulfill his and his family’s needs in life.

This monetary action (work or business) is his profession. On the basis of this career, he gets respect and a position in society and due to this, he fulfills his desires. Providing food, clothing, shelter, education, and medical resources for oneself and one’s children, siblings and other dependents is a responsibility that cannot be shirked. In order to fulfill this responsibility in a good way, it is necessary to adopt some profession. This is the constitution of human society and this is the only way to achieve success by following which one can get a respectable position in society.

Sociologists have recognized the accompanying necessities that inspire human existence:

-1 Medical/Physical needs: These include food, clothing, and shelter. Unless these needs are fulfilled, nothing can motivate a person.

-2 Protection: Protection from fear of loss and danger of life, loss of job/employment, loss of property, food, and clothing is included in the human need. The fulfillment of this need makes it a motivator.

-3 Need of society: It is human nature to live together….To live together and live with others, one has to pay for each other’s rights. Payment of these rights is a social necessity. Internal Feelings: After the above needs are fulfilled, a person develops a feeling of strength, dignity, and confidence. These feelings give the human heart happiness and satisfaction which is very necessary for a successful life.

– 5 Desire for development: After reaching a certain point, the natural desire of a human being is to move beyond it. The prerequisite for success is that you have completed planning in this regard and set goals for your development. He accumulates wealth by selling his possessions. Similarly, lawyers, doctors, engineers, and administrators, all are businessmen. Every person is providing the means of living by selling his/her abilities, strength, labor, and wealth in the market the world.

In this process, in which way does a person feel the most happiness and in what way does he use his abilities to the best degree… The knowledge, understanding, and conscious choice of this way and thing is called the choice of career.

Like a job or a business… these two are two career paths.

Career choice?

If you look at the economic activities around you, you will see all the people doing three types of work.

1- Practical work: These are works in which the worker is engaged in a process through his hands that move a machine, tool, or part. For example, engineers, pilots, farmers, computer operators, etc

Consciously or unconsciously, every young person starts to like a few professions during education. In the background of this choice is the profession of his family members, the profession of his friends’ father or brothers, the profession of national heroes, or his mental attachment and devotion to a particular personality.

When a young person reaches the crossroads in life where he is about to enter the phase of his professional education, he should make a priority list of his preferred occupations. There should be at least three occupations in this list, first most preferred, second least preferred, and third least preferred.

In the second step of choosing a profession, one should consider the following six basic considerations: “Which profession would be best for me?”

  • Abilities
  • 2- Education
  • Intelligence
  • 4- Tendency/Tendency/Interest

1- Skills: Skills mean the mental and physical qualities of a person. But we can appreciate the qualities only when we realize our flaws or deficiencies.

A young man wants to become a pilot but his eyesight is weak so he cannot become a pilot. Or a person wants to become a journalist, but if he does not know the language, then he cannot succeed in this profession. Those with good communication skills can succeed in the profession of lawyer or sales.

2- Education: Education means that the education he has acquired so far should be in accordance with the requirement of the profession he wants to take up. An aspirant to take up the profession of a doctor must clear the intermediate science examination in the pre-medical group as soon as he is eligible for admission to the college for MBBS.

3 –Intelligence: Intelligence is also necessary along with education for success in life. Intelligence means using your knowledge and experience with analysis in a timely manner. A good memory gives beauty to intelligence. Maximizing the least resources is also a charisma of intelligence. Whatever career a person chooses, intelligence is essential for success.

4- Tendency/tendency/Interest: Every person finds one or a few tasks easy, learns them faster than others, and understands their technical aspects immediately. He gets this advantage over other people because he tends towards that particular job or field.

Yes, some young people are so interested in electronic devices that they become familiar with their mysteries by themselves. Boys are not interested in doll games but girls play the same games.

In choosing a profession, one should consider one’s tendencies, and accordingly one should choose a career from among one’s preferences.
